  Memorial Day

Hey Buddies, this mail is for you: It will be dedicated to a presentation of the youth group, with all the pictures we took during the meetings and this crazy blablabla whatever day!! (lize mari venter understands...)

What is the youth group?????? With the youth of the Chevy C baptist church we officially meet once a week at David's house...We have commonly lunch together first, followed by a worship time lead by Lize Mari. After that, the sermon gave by who wants to do it (Lize Mari, me, and whoever will feel at ease to prepare and share something with us), and a prayer time during which we pray for the needs of everyone and we often make it last a long time: It leads to discussion about many varied subjects. This is also for us the opportunity to get to know more about each other in sharing our own experiences, plans, ''blablabla whatever''.

This group was initiated by Lize Mari after realizing that first the church didn't have one..., second that it was a need of the youth already here, and also since more and more of youth of 20 smth...(lol) where attending the service on sunday night. It would be then the occasion to meet each other and growing together. It also happened that the present group is composed of only foreign people!! What a chance! So it started, and here we are:

Lize Mari, south african women, 22, afrikaans speaking: favorite word: blabla bla whatever...as you know now...

Rhonnie: Korean women, 21, speaking her own language, favorite word: gnnnnnnnnnnnnnn (it means YES...???strange [e'nnn'e]..means isn't it pronouced with a pure Irish accent)

Jeannie, Korean women, also korean, particularity: fond of languages, say [dj] instead of [j]...but she is making tremendous progress!!

Hilda, Kenyan native, student at Howard University God willing, specialized in food for she works at Safeway and she told me that whenever I need smth, I call her and she would give me everything I want (food) for FREE!!!! isn't it great??? do you confirm Hilda?? we have to meet to speak and sign this out...

Franck is a friend of us, korean also, traveller (he has ever travelled to europe) we won't loose him!!! (he is the only guy I can count on...All these last girls will drive me crazy..they feel so strong together!!!

Matteo, French, 22, likes to make the hand bag fly around his wrist, loves shopping sometimes...and don't listen anything about Lize Mari could tell about me..., spanish freak, and proud of it.

Today we have had a great time around georgetown with Lize Mari. The others were shopping in Pentagon city. Walking along the Potomac river, making fun of each other (she more than I), taking funny pictures and stuffs. Day finished, as ever, at Rhonnie's house for a cup of tee and no sea weed today (sea weed is a vegetable)...next time!!!

 Let's see the pictures now:

Bon il faut quand même que je m'y mette à la langue de Chekspire. Entre Matteo et Etienne et bientôt Mèlodie, parce que là j'ai rien compris à ton dernier carnet.

pas d'acc.
j'aimerais une autre solution, mais elle ne se trouve pas dans les propositions.
